River Oaks Golf Course is a Public 6-hole golf course located in Paso Robles, California.
River Oaks Golf Course opened for play in 2004. The course was designed by Rudy Duran and Gary Wishon.
River Oaks Golf Course is a unique concept in recreational golfing. It is a six-hole "Player Development" course. The Par-19 course has three tees for each hole with different angles of approach to the green. The designers believe that focusing on the angle rather than the distance is beneficial to all levels of golfers, from beginning, intermediate and advanced to junior and senior golfers.

Interesting concept...6 holes played 3 times from different tees and slightly different distances / angles. Par3 course with 1 short par 4, big greens, easy to hit but difficult to putt ( play in Feb may not have been a fair assessment, but the greens not smooth and had uneven surfaces .. Lots of slope which also made putting harder) Still if greens improve the course is a nice test of your short game. Nice staff.
